Pre-meeting welcome by Jim Smith: Greetings Hometown Folk, Sure hope you can join us Thursday morning for our fifth Hometown Zoom (but who’s counting). We’ve got another excellent topic & speakers lined up, along with a couple of special guests. See below. These Hometown Zooms are becoming very comfortable, almost routine. But folks still ask: “when will be able to get together again in person?” That’s mighty hard to say. The simple answer is probably best: When we can meet without any restrictions. And we do not know when that will be. While we’re waiting we’ll keep Zooming along, thanks to the fine people at AZ Technology Solutions, and all of you. Some great programs are in the works for the coming weeks. Please watch for them and Zoom in on the 2nd & 4th Thursday's. You’ll be glad you did. As I write this morning, the autumnal equinox has just taken place. A big, red sun. It reminds us that things in the universe are indeed in balance, despite our everyday struggles and uncertainties. See you Thursday morning. - Jim Smith |
