Dear Hometown Helena,


We had a great presentation last week with an overview of the Black Butte Copper Mine and updates from Helena Food Share after one year in their new building. Wonderful engagement from the Hometown crowd and plenty of good morning updates!


We’re very appreciative of the candidates and elected officials who continue to join Hometown to share updates and be available to our community.


If you haven’t yet voted in this year’s Helena municipal election, don’t forget, one change this year is that voters must include their birth year under their signature. With just a week left, it’s now recommended that you deliver your ballot in person to the Elections Office at the City-County Building (316 N. Park Ave).

We have another great Hometown coming up this Thursday at Helena College with a presentation from St. Peter’s Health. As usual, there will be time for quick announcements or introductions of new attendees.


Fall is here, and Halloween is around the corner! There’s no official costume policy at Hometown, so don’t hesitate to have some fun with it.
