HomeTown Helena Meeting Chat -- 2.25.2021
Anderson ZurMuehlen Technology Services, a division of Anderson ZurMuehlen, is
pleased to host today’s HomeTown Helena Zoom meeting.

Peter Strauss: I'm sorry I cannot stick around for most of the meeting, I have some
legislative committees I am scheduled to testify in. Many of you know I am also part of
Ski Patrol up at Great Divide. We're an all-volunteer team and based on the National Ski
Patrol Charter, are required to provide all the medical equipment and toboggans on our
own. While we're supported by Great Divide and St. Peter's Health, they don't cover
everything. We're offering Delivery of Chili O'Brien's Wednesday dinner on March 10

for a $25 donation. You must order by March 8 at https://www.chiliobriens.com/online-ordering

Peter Strauss: Luke - thank you for your leadership of our schools. And thank you
to Dr. Ream for your service and leadership as well. We're going to miss you.

Jule Walker: Great opportunity to spotlight education as it is Public Schools Week!
Luke also serves on the Board for the Montana School Boards Association and is a
tremendous asset! Also, Thank you to Dr. Ream! Your dedication is appreciated!
Welcome to Rex Weltz as the incoming superintendent for Helena!

Sean Logan: KTVH recently reported on outstanding recognition of two local officers.

Luke Muszkiewicz: Thank you, everyone, for your time and for your support of both Dr.
Tyler Ream and new superintendent Rex Weltz. In addition, thank you for your
appreciation of our teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, administrators, and other
support staff!

resources for non-emergency needs, via an easy-to-remember phone number (2-1-1)
and a website (montana211.org). If you are a local agency that provides service to
people in our community – Go to the 2-1-1 website and read over their inclusion criteria.
If you qualify – they make it very simple to register your program. If you have any
questions reach out to Jeff Buscher or Emily McVey at the United Way for details.

Matt Elsaesser: Email Update to Hometown Helena from Health Officer Niemann!

I wanted to reach out and give you some good news. Our triggering criteria score for the Lewis and Clark COVID19 Emergency Rules has fallen below 33; therefore, groups up to 50 are able to meet without the requirement of a plan review and approval by our team. However, we do recommend a plan and we’d be more than happy to assist you to make sure there are adequate prevention measures in place if HTH decides to meet in person again in the near future.

Here a link to the page where you can find guidance documents and the event form.

Let me know if we can assist.

more material than if you were doing it on your own.

reduction! Have a good day everyone!
