Hometown Helena this Thursday, June 13th: St Peter’s Health

June 4, 2024

Summer is here!

Helena is bustling with tourists, out-of-school kiddos, and even a few film industry folks. Has anyone else walked through the little village of Yellowstone crew members up at the Capitol? Downtown will be “alive” with the sound of music for the beginning of the Alive @ 5 concert series next Wednesday, and the water feels wonderful at Canyon Ferry and on the Missouri. So much to do and enjoy here in the Queen City!

This week we’re joined by CEO-to-know, St Peter’s own Wade Johnson. Healthcare is a dynamic, changing, and critical part of our community, and it seems St Peter’s is always doing something new. Most recently, they acquired the old armory building on Last Chance Gulch. They hope to expand primary care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, wellness, mental health, rehabilitation, and therapy services in the new clinic, with improved access to Helena’s west side citizens. Construction and remodeling will likely begin in January of 2025. I’m sure we’ll be getting an update on that project and plenty more this week.

See you Thursday, either in person or through the lens of our Zoom camera. Pay close attention, our Zoom meeting code and passcode have changed! The new code is near the bottom of this email.
