Greetings Everyone,
Summer is here and anyone who made it downtown for the Art Walk and Gold Rush days saw a lot of friends and a very vibrant Downtown Helena! This week we'll hear from the Business Improvement District, the entity funded by and dedicated to supporting the properties from Lyndale up to the end of Cruse, which Jim Smith has coined as one of the most historic miles in Montana. Reading the paper today, there are some hot topics in addition to the excitement for the event season at the heart of our community.
We are also looking forward to hearing from the Maestro himself with updates about the Helena Symphony, which provides amazing events year-round at the Helena Civic Center and the premier outdoor event in Helena with Symphony Under the Stars at Carroll College every summer.
Emily McVey of the United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area will be our host this week! Jim Smith is back out enjoying the Green River, this time around Flaming Gorge Reservoir. We look forward to seeing you all in person and the Zooms this Thursday, 7 am, at Helena College for the visits with our guests, your questions and updates, and community dialog.
Sincerely,
Matt Elsaesser
Hometown Helena
